Re: Huddersfield are appalling
Certainly rubbish this season, but have a pretty good record overall against us. I still remember a very chilly midweek game with snow on the pitch (FA cup replay after 1-1 up there) in 1960 when a young Denis Law tore us a new one in a 5-1 demolition. Deeply upset this 10 year-old.

I'll second that - prob too young and talented to catch the eye of our "brains trust"....
Bloke looks to be potentially a bit special.

Re: Huddersfield are appalling
The Huddersfield team Chapman built won the League three times in a row, but he had been tempted away by Arsenal by the time they won the third.

His first job at Arsenal was to dig them out of their yearly struggle against relegation, which he did immediately (the bastard), but it was five years before he got them silverware (FA Cup). Unfortunately it wasn't the only bit he got them.

Bernie,

I think we drew 1-1 at Huddersfield,. Maybe there is something in it

Re: Huddersfield are appalling
Not sure what that Phillip Billing has done but not even on the bench
Aaron Mooy presumably injured.
They are the only two players they have near Premier league standard.

Those two will go and they wont be back in the Premier league any time soon

Think it was Leicester that sang ‘Champions of England , you’ll never sing that’ at Huddersfield

Herbert Chapman , later of Arsenal, was manager when they won 3 times in a row I think

Re: Huddersfield should be 2-1 up
Surprised liverpool put out such a strong team for this game especially with barca midweek.

They could beat this lot with their under 23s.

Would be an awful shame if one or 3 of their top players picked up knocks in this game and couldnt play midweek wouldnt it

Re: Huddersfield should be 2-1 up
Huddersfield getting promoted was an amazing achievement
Staying up last season was beyond belief
Will do well to be midtable in the Championship next season
